I was camped out at the mailbox waiting for the invite from Oakley to come back for the anniversary!!

I remembered personally but forgot to say anything here!

I remembered by the 23rd, and thought maybe I missed the thread. I celebrated by wearing the custom Frogskins they made for each one of us. Oh wait, that was a dream...

2009 was just yesterday, right?

how time flies...so much has changed...They carved a hole in the front and put glass in it...painted the building...moved the R/C track to the front, put in a pump track in the back...Great times though...Was still the best event ever!!

Sounds like to come an visit again soon!!! Awesome time with awesome people!!!

Finally decided I needed to make some room in the case.

NINE years! Seems like a long time ago, but I'm sure all of us that were fortunate to be selected remember it well!

Let's start petitioning Oakley to bring us back next year....LOL

The trouble being, I think there's only one or two people involved that are still there. We caught the tail end I feel.

Wore the hoodie yesterday.

First reaction was "there was a hoodie?!?", but is sounding vaguely familiar now.

What a great event, though. It is always worth thinking back and acknowledging the effort that Oakley went through to organize and put on those few days for us. And the opportunity to gather and meet some online and new friends was priceless. I bet Rich is now fully capable of swapping his own Monster Dog lenses now. ;)

Despite the chatter to the contrary during the event, I think it is nearly safe to say that the great memories will have to last us.

Wow, crazy to think it has been that long!!! Sadly, given the time that has passed, I feel it was a ‘one and done’ type of event, which is unfortunate - it was such a great way to thank collectors and allow us to meet some really great people. I agree though - 10 year anniversary back at One Icon!!!
