those are very nice man! Ive been going thru malls/stalls trying to find Ruby quartz like lenses that might be the same curve. Seems like your gurl just found em =P

It's kind of ruby quartz, but I think (maybe) mine are more RED than the others. Because I kind of dizzy when I wear them. I never wear this Juliet more than half an hour..

My suggestion, this Ruby Quartz are not for daily wear, especially for driving or anything that require a good vision..

And perhaps that's why Oakley won't go for mass production of these lenses. You look great from outside but you'll get terrible vision while you look through..

I've spent my weekend to finish these and I won't regret even if I've brushed my Juliet.

Here are the explanations:

1. Mine isn't carbon Juliet, but it's an X Metal based frame that brushed with dark color of a special paint for titanium. I don't go for carbon because I think that's too dark, so I go for darker X Metal..

2. I'm so proud of my girl's creativity. She asked me to turn her Juliet into pearl white. Wow, I thought someone might not do that to Juliet.. But her?? "Okay, I'll do it!" And I've done marvelous job. Hers is Plasma based Juliet frame. But something is missing, I need white Unobtainiums for my girl's, can anyone help me??
Hahaha, just kidding... She said that she'll go for the red Unobtainiums later..

Swapped my fire lenses for Ruby.


Given it's a new batch, it's not half bad. The Ruby for the Gascan is another story, but I'm happy with it.

I was just looking on Ebay and I noticed that Keystone has successfully developed a Ruby Quartz Plus8 for Juliets, Pennies, XX's, Romeos and Mars. I am really really tempted to get these...

But I'd like to see if any of you have already purchased these. Do post up shots because maybe the auction shots are all very nicely arranged to show deep purple. As we all know Ruby Iridiums are really really tricky to photograph.

That's exactly what I've got on order. I tried on a pair of Monster Dogg Pearl/Ruby at the O-factory, and it was awesome, but the pearl was a bit too shiny for me. So I'm gonna make White Camo + Ruby ... the pieces should all be here in a few days.

This pair was a gift from an AWESOME member with nothing but CLASS. I had a great day meeting one of our Midwest Members and his family. Great people and I thoroughly enjoyed getting the opportunity to meet them today. Here is a gift that was presented to me by him, and I was floored! I am totally in awe of the kindness he has shown, and this is the end result of many transactions between us.

This particular pair is a Metallic Black Gascan with Ruby lenses, red icons, and he had them etched with the "HQ VISIT 2007" for an awesome touch! I can't say enough about this member, and the rest who kept it quiet (you know who you are)!!! You ROCK!!!

How was the trip to HQ with Brent?

It freakin' rocked. His rep was way cool, nice to see the video in the theater is more retro than previous videos. They are using the Acorn mascot from back in the day, and they had a lot of influx of old goggles, grips, and many other key elements (like the old advertising). Seeing the Basketball court gone was a bit odd. All new design space for apparel and accessories. Just really cool, and his family are a nice bunch of people! Wish we had more time, and more members to just hang out. I still am all for the annual meeting event if you will. Got some things handled for some others while I was there, picked up some shirts and a pair of Hawaiian Paddle Sandals (have the Hawaiian Icon and Silhouttes of the islands on them)...

Didn't really get to see any hush hush eyewear or electronics, but just going through everything was cool....AGAIN! Oh, saw the new towers...Very cool. Now gender specific and a lot more detail in some than ever before. All in all a great time.
