again, bought these on standardissue and they are pretty sick, I like them because they are not open to the public and I dont have to worry about lots of people having them. I wish the lens tent was a little darker though but they feel comfortable to look though. I dont know how effective they are agains lasers, I even tested it with a green laser and of course it is still super bright though the lens.

The M-Frame style is where oakey came from, and continues. I never wear them for casual, but are my usual choice for cycling. I love the interchangable lenses, and block out the sun and light well. They do fog a little on climbs, but the vented style might help on this. Still, great glasses. Be careful when replacing earsocks on the earstems. They can break with a little bit of effort. Mine broke and they are replacing with my choice of color which is nice of them FMJ 5.56

I've written before that these are the perfect shades for athletic
use. The New Hybrid lenses are a great fit for those with smaller heads. However, the new Hybrid Shape just isn't as sharp or attractive as the original shape. They work just as well however, so that might not matter for most.

My first lens for my first set of M Frames. Having a larger head, I was in the market for a heater or strike size, but since these were 50% off at my local sunglass hut I figured I would give them a try. The coverage is solid, and the black is...dark. The black is almost too dark for most days, but is great for the right day. Overall this was a very wise purchase and I am very happy with my shades.

M frame is one of the best pair for cycling. Hugs well on your face and easily slide up to your head if you want it out of your face. Very light. And the best thing, you can easily change the lens with a lot of other options.

My dad gave me these since he wasn't wearing them. The HI Yellow is bright as ever and works nicely for nighttime riding. I'll probably use these on my bike at night next summer.

Lens: Laser Lense
The laser lense is awesome to look through,it washes every colour out exept reds,and hints of yellows.
I looked into my neighbours back garden with them on,and the red flowers just stuck out,they looked so bright and crisp.
Your eye is just drawn to the colour red,so they certainly do there job.
No wonder the lense used to cost about $150.(if you worked for the military)

Lens: 24K Hybrid

Being a Michigan grad, what could be more appropriate than a pair of official Michigan Oakleys? I saw these in some local stores and really wanted them, but I just couldn't justify the $165 retail price. Well, patience paid off for once, as I found these on eBay and only paid $70. The Navy frame is a beautiful deep metallic blue and has yellow/gold icons true to the Michigan colors. The 24K lens has a small block 'M' etched into the lower left corner. It is almost unnoticeable unless you are looking for it, but it's still cool. I'm not sure if it's a result of the large size of the M-Frame lens, but the 24K Iridium fades to a bluish color near the edges of the lens... interesting.

Excellent for any type of sports,I use this for biking.
Good selection of lens colours for different activities.

Frame: Smoke
Lens: +Red Iridium (Original Hybrid)

Much better fit than the old, fangless Gen 1 M Frame. Peripheral vision is unmatched.
Great for biking, and the +Red lens is a good lens for varying light conditions as long as it's not night. The Smoke frame is very very nice, it's a metallic grey. The metal icons are a nice touch, much nicer than the painted raised ones on the Pro M Frame.
However: the arms get wobbly. You don't notice this when wearing them because the frame is stable then, but taking them on and off I wonder how long they will hold out. However, they have been going strong for a few years now so it's not so bad, just there's room for improvement. The lens interchangeability is great and easy but you'll pay a lot for spares - the Iridium lenses in Canada cost as much as a non-Iridium Five 2.0 (!) and almost as much as a Monster Dog.

In my eyes this line wasn't necessary at all. Providing schools with certain styles in their colors is great but to release them all seems tedious and takes away from better color comps in the regular lines. I guess the fans will go nuts to own a pair in their school or teams color though. Closest to getting a custom pair as well since they were not mainstream Oakley releases.
