Very interesting, thx! I often wonder why I can see my own eyes when the sun is in my back... seems as if oakley lenses do not have a A/R Coating (?).

It would appear that only certain Oakley lenses come with backside AR. I experience bright flashes of light from my black iridium when the sun is extremely bright. I believe this is the light reflected directly into my eyes from the back of the lens.

I do not have any problems with my polarized version though.

Oakley, like most other brands, does not have backside AR coatings, except for Polarized lenses. Probably because a backside AR would make the sunglasses much more expensive.
