Not my thing either, but an interesting product to see coming from Oakley. What's the transmission on a gradient lens? Is is just an average? How about the composition of the lens itself. Is the whole lens clear, with some black iridium over it? or is the lens iridium-less, with a variable color? or a combo of both of those?

I'll have to see it in person before the verdict comes in. For the people who like the more fashion-geared stuff, this is probably a welcome addition.

I could see Oakley using those lenses with another endorsed rapper (other than Lil Jon), that rapper icing up the glasses and having it as their new bling.

Dilution.

You can't do a polycarbonate gradient lens; it only works with CR-39... in other words, the optical quality isn't going to be nearly as good.

Well watch this space. Oakley are masters or doing the impossible, and its not polycarbonate its PLUTONITE.

What are gradient lens supposed to look like? I would kill for a Black Crosshair frame, and I would rather have the cheaper option...

Very soon !!

They are made from Plutonite and have XYZ optics so Protection & optical clarity will be just as good as any other Oakley.
