I have owned oakley romeo 1s for 20 years. These have small scratches on the frame.
I wanted to know if the adonization of the metal is indicated, painting or on the contrary doing nothing.
Would any of these techniques affect the structural strength of the frame?
Would the value of the glasses go down?
Thank you .
Hi Daniel,
Custon paintings do not affect the structure, just be careful with chroming by chemical process, because if done poorly, material breaks can occur, as the x-metal material is very rigid and may not accept this type of chemical treatment, ok.
In the rest, custon paintings are well accepted by many people. But it depends more on whether you want to keep the ROMEO 1 ORIGINAL even with details, or if you prefer customization.
The important thing is to be happy with the choice.
Congratulations on Romeo 1.
Good luck..
