i got one of extreme limited rusty wallace time bomb. it's incl. all accessory, also the big metalcase. but over the years the foam falls apart.

who can help me out?

i need all dimensions from both foams (top and bottom) to build new foam.

First of all, congratulations on your new Bomb, Sascha! VERY impressive, and great to see another Rusty Wallace Time Bomb come home to the OR!

Second, it appears that the foam in my Rusty Wallace Time Bomb is a bit "lighter" in color than the foam in my Eddie Jordan Time Bomb... and I think it's because the Rusty Wallace Bomb was displayed for quite a while longer in a sunlit room. It appears that the sun actually faded the dark color of the foam a bit. Not sure how the foam insert in your display is "falling apart", but perhaps the previous owner didn't take very good care of it.

This may just be the person I talked to, but some interesting information about foam:

I wanted to get new foam for my "gift card holder" display piece from back in the day. Was going to make a watch display out of it.

Took it to my local "FOAM STORE" (literally, the name) and she said she had never felt that type of foam before... She suggested that Oakley foam was a mix between memory foam and some other foam I'd never heard of (and honestly can't remember).

She said that some companies will have someone manufacture foam for them, then patent it, so no one else can get their hands on it.

Just seemed like a very Oakley thing to do. :-D

i contact oakley service but they can't help me.

so i found a grid-foam to complete this rare collector item. i hope to receive it in the next days.
after that i will post some pics from the TB rusty set.

grid-foam is delivered today ... here is the result ...

FWIW-A lot of the foam in the older glasses, vaults, etc is starting to detoriate due to age & chemical break down, best solution is to just make replacments the best you can. YMMV

so rusty is maybe 10-015 or 10-017? ... unfortunately i got no black outer box ...
