Got this on the mumbos, when i saw them i had to have them, this must be one of the most unique patterns oakley have ever done. it looks homemade so when i first saw it thought it might be a custom job.
i have the pink version and it is the only reason i got the mumbo as i hate hate M-frames.
Originally released on the M Frames, the Splatter patters were unlike anything ever before seen on Oakley frames. Just like snowflakes in nature, no two patters are exactly identical, which gives them a true appeal.
i have the yellow, grey & pink frames-soooo cool and so unique-nothing comes close to these for true retro styling.
they could be classed as one offs as every pair is different-just need the purples!
While these came late eighties, early nineties they seem to say to me pure eighties in spirit with too bright neon colors and wild random shapes.
I once owned a pair splatter blue m frames way back when and I thought they were absolutely beautiful. If Oakley were to bring these back, I'd snap up a pair in a heaertbeat.
